Meet Our Team

Team Portrait

Danna Johnson: Strategic Hub Lead - Senior Leadership Team

Danna is the Strategic Hub Lead with overall responsibility for the Children and Family Centre programme and offer in the Peckham & Nunhead area.

Early Years team  

We have a team of 3 early year’s practitioners, 4 Early years Assistance and 1 senior Early Years Practitioner that run and plan sessions and activities for children and their parents/carers. Our experienced team uses the Early years foundation stage to plan around young children’s personal, social and emotional development, communication and Language and physical development.  

 

Each team member is based at different sites across the locality, so you may see Lorna, Anna, Waffa, Felicia, Roxanna and Aishling in the session you are attending.

Idalina Tomaz de Macedo Gira:  Senior Early Years Practitioner/Specialist SEND Lead and coordinator 

 Idalina oversees the Early years team, creches, and universal sessions and SEND projects, including Sensational stay and play and food and fun projects.  

Administration team

Our admin team covers both Ann Bernadt and Rye Oak Children and Family centres, and are part time throughout the week. Kausar, Ellen and Sara welcome families as they come into the centre, take enquires and support in registration and supporting our data requirements for Southwark Local Authority. The team also support families access rose vouchers and foodbank vouchers.  

 

Lisa Lilley: Finance and HR manager 

Lisa oversees the finance and HR of the organisation, she will be able to assist with any HR matter, as well as ordering, invoicing and payroll queries. Lisa works two days per week. Thursday and Fridays and is based in the admin office.  

Community Family workers

We have 4 dedicated community family workers offering a whole family approach where a child is under 5 years old. Kemi, Maria, Milly and Sue support the whole family through an Outcome Star assessment,and provide interventions that best support the family’s needs and strengths. We are also part of Southwark Family Early Help team, and we arrange, team around the family meetings and work as a multidisciplinary agency with Health, community mental health, children’s and adult social and other services that support families in the journey of change. Our team is based at Rye Oak children and family centre.

Hayley McGrane: Family Services Manager 

Hayley oversees and supports our Family Support part of the centre and the community family workers, this includes providing supervision, one to one support and support the team in supporting families they are working with.

Student Social Workers

Our children and family centre are supported through student social workers on placement. We work with a number of universities across London to support placement opportunities. We believe our students contribute to our overall organisation, and fosters an enriching learning environment for all students and staff at PPRN Children and family centres. Which the support of students on placement, we are able to reach more families in our local area. You will see students across the centre in different services and across the locality.

Health and midwifery team

​ ​Within the Children and Family centre services, we have a range of health services attached to our offer, this includes health visitors, nurses, speech and Language therapists and midwifes all based across the locality providing valuable services to the community.  

 

Specialist services 

Our specialist service team includes, the Nest, a free & confidential mental wellbeing advice and support for young people aged 11 – 25 in Southwark and their parents/carers and Cambridge house welfare advice sessions, to support families with benefits, housing and employment.

Over the course of our programme, we offer targeted sessions delivered by SLAM – Parental mental health team and Southwark’s perinatal team.
